Welcome to the Ryder Cup 2025, the 45th edition of the Europe–United States showdown. From 26 to 28 September 2025, the action heads to Bethpage Black (New York) — a mythical, rugged par-71, set to deliver a volcanic New York atmosphere. Europe arrives as defending champion after Rome 2023 (16.5–11.5); the United States aim to reclaim the cup at home.

Course & key holes
Bethpage Black (Farmingdale, NY) is a public beast turned icon: narrow fairways, thick rough, firm greens. A sign warns right on the tee: “This course is extremely difficult.” Perfect to ignite an already fired-up New York crowd.

History & evolution
Born in 1927 (USA vs Great Britain), the Ryder Cup shifted in 1979 to a full Europe team, making the contest far more competitive. Since then the drama has come from pairings, captains, and legendary comebacks (Brookline 1999, Medinah 2012). The event is held every two years in late September, match-play by sessions (foursomes, four-balls, singles).
